Confirmation is a Catholic sacrament that signifies the strengthening of the Holy Spirit in an individual. Through this sacrament, the recipient is sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit, which strengthens their faith and prepares them to become full members of the Church. Confirmation is typically received during adolescence or adulthood after the recipient has undergone a period of preparation and discernment.
